As an anthropologist, artist/designer and artisanal chocolate maker I love hearing and sharing stories about makers and their craft.
My passion for art and culture led me to study both fine art in Florence Italy and anthropology in Guadalajara Mexico. For five years I immersed myself in origin storytelling and specialty sourcing while living in Japan. At a farmhouse in the countryside of Denmark my interest in brand design developed as I worked alongside a family of specialty brewers.
My family and I created an artisanal chocolate company and for a decade we operated out of 26' micro factory designed to transform into a mobile boutique for events and sales. It was my honor to design the brand including the website, social content, merchandising & product packaging.
For the last several years I have collaborated with an industry leader in the premium cacao space to produce a website capable of handling global orders and fulfillment. Each year I update and design their transparency report for stakeholders.
Currently my family and I live and work in the highlands of Chiapas Mexico. Here, I am working with a group of master weavers both as a weaver myself and as a designer for their brand.
I would love to hear about what you are making and to see if we are a good fit, working with awesome people makes me the happiest.
